Personal Play: September 5th
Worst Beat I have ever seen in my entire life. SAD. What a terrible week! Only one way to save it! TONIGHT‼️

JMU @ Louisville 7:00pm EST
Louisville is in a strong position to cover the spread tonight because their offense, led by transfer quarterback Miller Moss and explosive new playmakers like Caullin Lacy, has already shown big-play ability in Week 1. Jeff Brohm’s offensive system is built to create mismatches, and at home under the lights, the Cardinals should sustain drives and put up points against a JMU defense that hasn’t faced this level of speed yet. The Cardinals’ run game, featuring Isaac Brown and Duke Watson, adds balance and forces JMU to pick their poison defensively, which will open up vertical shots downfield. While Louisville showed some sloppiness with turnovers and penalties in their opener, that kind of volatility is easier to clean up in front of a home crowd than it is for a road team adjusting to a step up in competition. JMU’s dual-QB system with Barnett and Sluka could generate short bursts, but it also risks inconsistency, especially against a deeper, more athletic Louisville defense. Coaching also favors the Cardinals: Brohm has more experience in scheming against top competition, while Bob Chesney is still building JMU’s FBS identity. With efficiency, depth, and situational edges on their side, Louisville has the tools to not just win but to separate and cover the double-digit line.
