Personal Play: November 29th

2-0 yesterday‼️💸 Let’s do it again today📈 Personal play coming… just waiting on injury reports!

LEAN:

CFB:

Miami @ Pitt 12:00pm EST

Miami is positioned to win and cover -6 because their passing efficiency and defensive consistency give them the clearest path to sustained scoring and repeated stops across four quarters. Carson Beck has been elite at avoiding negative plays, completing over 70% of his throws and thriving against pressure, which directly attacks Pitt’s biggest defensive weakness — their tendency to give up explosive passes when their front doesn’t get home. Miami’s run defense, holding opponents to around 3.0 yards per carry, is built to neutralize Pitt’s ground game especially if Desmond Reid is limited, forcing Pitt’s freshman quarterback into more predictable passing situations. Over the course of the game, Miami’s depth and health advantage on defense — especially with their secondary returning key pieces — increases the probability of a timely turnover or a stalled Pitt drive. Pitt’s special-teams uncertainty, especially at kicker in cold conditions, also shifts hidden-yardage and scoring expectations toward Miami, making it harder for Pitt to keep pace in a close game. When combining Miami’s higher efficiency, superior defense, matchup advantages, and Pitt’s injury concerns, the Hurricanes project to not only win but to extend the margin enough to cover the -6. Miami beat Notre Dame which beat Pitt by 22.

1/2 Unit Play: Miami -5.5

Take up to -6

PERSONAL PLAY:

NBA:

Celtics vs Timberwolves 5:00pm EST

The Celtics are positioned to cover +7 because with Jaylen Brown confirmed in, Boston’s offense stabilizes around his 28-PPG scoring load and elite mid-range efficiency, eliminating the volatility they suffer when he sits. Boston’s 5-out spacing with Derrick White, Simons, Pritchard, Hauser, and Scheierman consistently pulls Rudy Gobert away from the rim, forcing Minnesota’s defense into uncomfortable switching situations and reducing the Wolves’ usual interior advantage. Even with Minnesota’s size, the Wolves’ biggest vulnerability lately has been late-game execution, where they’ve blown multiple leads due to poor decision-making from Edwards and Randle—meaning Boston can close the gap even if they trail early. Joe Mazzulla’s math-heavy approach (high 3PA rate, pace, and variance) naturally keeps games within single digits, especially against teams like Minnesota that rely more on physicality than perimeter firepower. The Celtics also match up well defensively, using Brown, White, and Walsh to throw multiple long, switchable bodies at Edwards, which statistically lowers the Wolves’ offensive efficiency in the second half. With Boston healthy outside of Tatum and trending upward while Minnesota struggles in clutch moments, the Celtics have multiple paths to staying inside the +7 spread and even pushing for a late upset.

1 Unit Play: Celtics +7

Only if Jaylen Brown plays
