Personal Play: November 24th

4-3 again last week. With 2 Lean losses as well. Worst month in a long time. 🤦‍♂️😑 Gotta get it together!

Auburn @ Oregon 8:00pm EST

Oregon is in a strong position to cover +3.5 because they enter this game with far more stability, experience, and continuity than Auburn, especially in a neutral-site tournament setting where Dana Altman’s teams historically thrive. Auburn is missing its best player, Keyshawn Hall, the 23-point, 11-rebound star who drives their half-court creation and late-clock offense, and that absence dramatically reduces Auburn’s scoring ceiling and makes their offense easier to scheme against. Oregon’s length and frontcourt versatility—especially with Nate Bittle stretching the floor—creates matchup problems for an Auburn team that now lacks its primary interior counterpunch. On top of that, Auburn’s roster turnover and first-year head-coach transition create more volatility, whereas Oregon’s veteran group has already shown poise in late-game possessions. The Ducks’ experience from winning last year’s Players Era Festival gives them a mental and strategic edge in games that tighten up late. Altogether, the combination of coaching, matchup advantages, and Auburn’s key injury gives Oregon multiple pathways to stay inside the number and a very real chance to win outright.
