Personal Play: November 20th

Tough loss yesterday. College Basketball is off the docket for the rest of the week. We are hot in NBA, 4-0 so let’s keep that going!

PERSONAL PLAY:

NBA:

Clippers @ Magic 7:00pm EST

The Magic are positioned to cover –5 because their recent surge in offensive efficiency—nearly 116 points per game over their last stretch—directly attacks a Clippers defense that has slipped into bottom-tier performance without Kawhi Leonard. Orlando’s length and switchability on the perimeter allow them to throw multiple defenders at James Harden, forcing him into tougher creation spots and reducing LA’s already limited late-game shotmaking options. Without Kawhi and Bradley Beal, the Clippers’ offense becomes overly Harden-centric, making them easier to scheme for and more prone to scoring droughts on the road. The Magic also hold a clear rebounding advantage, which should generate second-chance points and limit the Clippers to one-shot possessions throughout the night. Playing at home, Orlando’s role players historically shoot better and Mosley’s defensive energy-first approach typically translates into high-effort performances in front of their crowd. With LA deep into a long road trip and struggling to close tight games, the Magic’s depth, defensive consistency, and physicality give them a strong path to winning this matchup by multiple possessions and comfortably covering the –5.

1 Unit Play: Magic -5
