NBA:

Knicks @ Heat 7:30pm EST

The Heat are positioned to win tonight because their offense is firing at a league-leading pace, and the Knicks enter this matchup without their two most important perimeter anchors, Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby. Miami’s wings have a clear advantage, especially Norman Powell, who has already shredded New York’s depleted perimeter defense for 67 points across the first two meetings. Even without Bam Adebayo, the Heat have enough spacing, ball movement, and tempo to consistently create high-efficiency shots against a Knicks defense that now struggles to contain drives and closeouts. Spoelstra also provides a major late-game coaching edge, especially at home, where he can dictate matchups and exploit New York’s lack of a reliable closer. The Knicks will rely heavily on Karl-Anthony Towns, but without Brunson’s creation and OG’s defense, his impact becomes easier for Miami to scheme around. In the end, Miami’s offensive firepower, healthier backcourt, and superior coaching give them the decisive advantage needed to pull out the win.
