PERSONAL PLAY:
NFL:
Eagles @ Packers 8:15pm EST
The Packers will win because their balanced offensive system and Jordan Love’s recent efficiency against zone-heavy defenses give them a consistent edge in sustaining drives and finishing in the red zone. Even without tight end Tucker Kraft, Green Bay’s offensive line has held up well, allowing Love time to exploit Philadelphia’s struggling secondary that ranks near the bottom of the league in explosive plays allowed. Running back Josh Jacobs should find success against an Eagles front missing center Cam Jurgens, controlling tempo and keeping Jalen Hurts off the field. The Packers’ defense, ranked top-10 in both DVOA and points allowed, has been elite at home and should limit Hurts’ scrambling opportunities while forcing him into long third downs. At Lambeau, where Green Bay’s crowd and cold-weather advantage historically elevate their play, they’re built to handle the late-game pressure better than a traveling Eagles team. Combined with Matt LaFleur’s adaptable play-calling and superior in-game adjustments, the Packers are primed to pull out a close but decisive win.
