Personal Play: May 21st

1-1 on the week. The Wolves looked strong to start, but really sucked down the stretch🤦‍♂️ They couldn’t get a stop😡😡 2 plays for today!

Atlanta Braves @ Washington Nationals 6:45pm EST

The Nationals are on fire right now!! They have won 4 in a row! And they just won last night abasing this Braves team 5-3. Tonight they are starting Williams, who has been shaky as of late but I expect a concerted effort for him in this one. The Braves are starting Smith-Shawver, besides having a hyphenated last name— which automatically makes him a Bumb, he hasn’t been that impressive. And the sub 3 ERA isn’t fooling me one bit! He has been lucky in his first couple outings. I don’t think his luck continues today. He just pitched against this Nationals team less than a week ago, so this lineup is very familiar with him. I trust Williams for the Nationals, but I do not trust their bullpen. So I’m going to take the First 5. Both teams are very similar offensively but the Nationals have a big edge in base running, which will be a factor in this one.

Indiana Pacers @ New York Knicks 8:00pm EST

The Pacers won this series last year in 7 games, then they got swept by the Celtics. Now these two teams meet in the conference finals. I think this is going to be a high scoring series. And this under looks very low. Now, I also think the Pacers will want to push the pace early in this series. The sharp money has come in on the same. But The Knicks can be known to go cold offensively so I’m going to take the Pacers Team Total over. The Pacers scored under 110 Points in the playoffs twice. Those are their 2 losses. So to me I think they can win this game, 8 out of their 10 playoff games they have been over 110 and in their previous two series the won game 1.
