Minnesota Timberwolves @ Oklahoma City Thunder 8:30pm EST

The Thunder come into this game after a huge win against the Denver Nuggets at home in game 7. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves come into off rest and probably very focused in game 1. Sometimes in a series where it’s is back and forth and you win game 7, there is a relief that comes at the end. And a quick turnaround like this tends to hurt good teams in the next round. The Wolves on the other hand are coming off rest. They know they are the underdogs in this series, and a game 1 victory on the road would really give them a good chance to win this series. If they go down 0-2, it could spell trouble for the Wolves in this series. Both these teams are very good defensively and the total opened at 213 which is very low, but is now bought up to 216. So it seems a little to matrix for me and I’ll stay away. But the Wolves getting 7.5 points, now that’s something that interests me a lot. They are on the road and their best player Anthony Edward’s, thrives in these situations. I think the Wolves can cover here, and if they get the cover, I think they have a good chance to win outright.
