Chattanooga @ Bradley 7:00pm EST

Chattanooga is getting a lot of public sentiment and there are a lot of so called experts who think they will win this one. I disagree. I really like Bradley in this matchup. This game will come down to 3pt shooting and I’m going to side with the number 2 team in the country shooting the 3 ball at 40% this season (BRADLEY). They also have a top 100 3pt defense, while Chat ranks 260th. Both teams are missing players, Bradley 2 of their top 5 players and Chattanooga arguably their best player. Now I really like Honor Huff for Chat— he’s great to watch but I’m going to stick with the better shooting team. And the team that opened at 5.5 point favorites.

North Texas @ Oklahoma State 9:00pm EST

I really like this matchup for North Texas and here’s why. Most times in college hoops the slower teams win tournament play. These teams have totally opposite styles, Oklahoma State loves to get out and run. While North Texas wants to play half-court offense and slow the game down. Texas should control the pace in this one. I doubt this will be a very rowdy crowd in Oklahoma. I expect a low scoring game— look at the under also. Which definitely favors the slower paced team. The one negative for Texas in this one is that Oklahoma plays in the Big 12 and is a little more battle tested. I still like North Texas to get it done and advance past the semi-final.
