PERSONAL PLAY:

MLB:

New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies 7:15pm EST

The Phillies are one of the hottest offensive teams in baseball right now, averaging over 6 runs per game across their last 10, and they just scored 10 against the Mets last night. Rookie Mick Abel, while talented, is still unproven and may not pitch deep into the game, exposing Philadelphia’s inconsistent bullpen (4.65 ERA). On the other side, Griffin Canning has been prone to giving up hard contact, especially on the road, where his ERA is nearly a full run higher. Both teams are playing in hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park on a warm night, with conditions ideal for balls to carry. If either starter struggles early, the bullpens should allow enough late scoring to push the total over 9.5 runs. This is a Mets team struggling offensively, that I expect to get going early. The sharp money has come in on the over and I love betting on the highest lines to go over. And any line at 10 meets that criteria but I will buy it down to 9.5.

1 Unit Play: Over Total 9.5 Runs
