PERSONAL PLAY:

MLB:

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Los Angeles Angels 9:38pm EST

Tonight’s matchup between the Angels and Diamondbacks is set up well to go over 8.5 runs. Both teams are swinging hot bats—Arizona is averaging over five runs per game on the road this month, while the Angels have averaged more than six runs per game at home in their last two weeks. The starting pitchers, Yusei Kikuchi and Zac Gallen, have solid strikeout numbers but have shown inconsistency with command and rarely pitch deep into games. That puts pressure on two of the worst bullpens in baseball, with the Angels’ relievers posting a 5.06 ERA and the Diamondbacks’ pen struggling with blown saves and inherited runners scoring. Last night’s 6–5 game showed how easily these lineups can force high totals, especially in the later innings. With poor relief pitching, power-hitting lineups, and sharp betting action leaning toward the over, this game has a strong chance to clear the 8.5-run mark.
