Golden State’s spacing and off-ball movement directly attack a Timberwolves defense that is far less organized without Mike Conley orchestrating communication and late-game coverages. Minnesota’s size advantage is real, but without consistent perimeter creation, their half-court offense becomes more predictable, especially if Anthony Edwards is limited or forced into heavy isolation usage. Steve Kerr’s coaching edge shows up late, where Golden State’s ability to run layered actions and counters gives them higher-quality shots in tight fourth-quarter possessions.
