Personal Play: August 1st

2-1-1 this week. Let’s roll tonight gentlemen‼️ It’s time for a FRIDAY WINNER💸💸📈

PERSONAL PLAY:

MLB:

St. Louis Cardinals @  San Diego Padres 9:40pm EST

On August 1st, the Padres are in a strong position to beat the Cardinals by at least 1.5 runs, thanks in large part to the pitching matchup. San Diego sends Nick Pivetta to the mound, who boasts a stellar 10–3 record with a 2.81 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 131 strikeouts in just over 121 innings. In contrast, St. Louis counters with Matthew Liberatore, who has struggled with inconsistency, carrying a 4.04 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. Pivetta has already handled the Cardinals this season, allowing only two earned runs over 6.1 innings in his previous outing against them. Meanwhile, the Cardinals offense has gone cold, scoring just 10 total runs over their last five games, which puts added pressure on Liberatore to keep the game close. With a dominant starter, home-field advantage at Petco Park, and momentum on their side, the Padres are well-positioned to win by multiple runs in this matchup.

1 Unit Play: Padres -1.5
