Personal Play: April 4th

Tough Loss last night with the Reds. They just couldn’t put a run on the board after putting up 14 runs on Monday. Tough one to swallow🤦😥 Be ready for Tomorrow!! March Madness is BACK‼️

2 Games today. The Lean is an earlier matchup that I see some line value in but, the safe bet is to stay with the Personal Play.

Yankees @ Pirates 4:12pm EST

The Yankees are coming off an emotional series against the Diamondbacks in which they were very good at times and also struggled in the bullpen at times as well. Now they are on a quick travel schedule to Pittsburgh for a day game. Against a team that has some real momentum coming into this one with a solid outing last game against the Rays. I think the Pirates can put some runs on the board and this could be a little let down spot for this Yankees team who has been very up and down. A lot of value with the Pirates in this one but I really can’t trust their offense and I won’t be throwing much on this game. Just sprinkle a little on the ML. The public is so heavy on the Yankees could be a good little momentum boost.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Texas Rangers 8:05pm EST

Both teams have started of the season well at 4-2 and 5-2 respectively. The Rangers are coming off two wins in which they had 1-0 wins. Their offense has been sluggish to start the season. Now they are putting on the mound Tyler Mahle who struggled in his first start. Now he is facing on of the hottest offenses in baseball. They rank 7th in batting average, 2nd in total strikeouts, 11th in on base percentage, and 12th in walks. While the Rangers aren’t top 20 in any of those categories. The Rays have Littel on the mound who had 7 strikeouts and a 1.50 ERA in his first outing. It is going to be tough for the Rangers to score in this one. And it looks like the Rays can do some damage in Mahle. I look for them to get out to a fast start and never relinquish this lead. The public is all over the Rangers at home but the sharp money has come in on Tampa Bay and I agree with that.
