Toronto Blue Jays @ Houston Astros 8:15pm EST

The Blue Jays are coming into this one losing two in a row to close out their series with the Mariners. The Astros on the other hand are coming in winning their series against the Padres, but losing on National TV last night in the late night action. I think the Blue Jays are in a focus spot here. They are the better offensive team, with a top 5 batting average in the Majors. They are also very good defensively. They have Gausman on the mound, who has been average this season and usually doesn’t have much drop off on the road. The Astros have Brown on the mound to start, he has let off 0 runs in his first two outings but to me he is due to give up some runs here. To throw 3 shutouts in a row, you have to be on of the best in the game, to me, he is not. He’ll drop back to normal and I expect him to have trouble with this Jays lineup.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Denver Nuggets 10:00pm EST 

The Nuggets won the last matchup after getting thoroughly out played. The Clippers lead for 3 and 1/2 quarters. I think they will get it together in this one. They have the coaching advantage big time!! I think this will play a big factor here with the adjustments after game one, and especially late game changes they need to make. I like the Clippers in this one! The sharp bettors are on them as well.
