Villanova vs Colorado 8:30pm EST

This game should be a fun one. It’s the first round of the brand new tournament: The College Basketball Crown. Both these teams have had long layoffs and Villanova’s head coach was just fired. To me when a coach is fired it is actually a focus point for the players on the team. They usually play very hard in their next game, and I expect them to here. Nova has the best player in this game, a National First Team All-American in Dixon. They also have great shooting coming from guys like Poplar. This team is very good shooting the 3 and from the foul line. Now for Colorado, they are very, very poor offensively. Their strong suit is defense but I don’t think it will be enough to contain Villanova here. The sharp money agrees, falling on Villanova early and moving this line up to -4. It opened at -2.5 and I want to stay within the 1 basket, for safety.

Buy up -4 if you really want the better line value but I would not take above 4. Even though I could see Villanova winning by 10+ if they hit their 3s. It’s just not worth it.
