Personal Play: April 16th

1-1 to start the week, with a tough game last night. The Braves had their worst inning defensively all year. But I got a good one tonight!

Los Angeles Angels @ Texas Rangers 8:05pm EST

Last night the Rangers won 4-0, and didn’t score until late. The Angels had 3 errors and left 6 runners on base. Their relievers let them down again in this one. And that has been a pattern as of late. The Rangers are putting Corbin on the mound tonight, he is one of the worst pitchers in the Majors. He has had over a 5.00 ERA both of his last 2 seasons. I do not trust him to pitch well in this one at all. The Angels on the other hand are pitching Soriano, who is 2-1 this year with a 2.70 ERA this year with 18 strikeouts in 20 innings. This is a total mismatch to me. The Angels are favored for a reason in this one, and I look for them to really get that bats going, lower those defensive mistakes, and take advantage of the Rangers putting out Corbin on the mound. I like the Angels in the first 5 tonight considering this pitching matchup as well. But I think they win this one and really put up some runs. That’s gonna be my best bet. Angels Runs and the First 5!
