San Francisco Giants @ Philadelphia Phillies 6:45pm EST

Both of these teams are very good. The Phillies are coming into this one after losing their series to the Cardinals and getting shut out last game. Their bats have been very mediocre. And now they have Walker on the mound who has gotten very lucky in his first two starts. He has a 0.00 ERA and has let off 8 hits and 4 walks in 10.2 innings. The Giants bats have been very good. They are 11-4 on the season and I expect them to win this one on the road in Philly. They have Roupp starting for them, who hasn’t pitched great in his first couple appearances and should settle down in this one. This Phillies lineup is very top heavy, if he can keep them under control, this should be a fun one. I like the Giants in the full game here. They have the better bullpen and I think that will help them late in this one.

Chicago Cubs @ San Diego Padres 9:40pm EST

This game should have some fireworks with both teams working with the bottom of their rotation. The Cubs are coming into this one with the best offense in baseball. I don’t expect them to slow down anytime soon. The Padres are winners of 5 straight and haven’t lost at home this year- 10-0. That’s definitely not going to continue over a 162 game season. I like the Cubs in a high scoring affair.
