Personal Play: 1st Day March Madness

Creighton vs Louisville 12:00pm EST

This game is taking place in Louisville, Kentucky. This will be a home game for this Louisville team. They will be hungry in this game! Creighton has been a good team all season but I don't think they will be able to beat this strong Louisville team. Louisville has the better net rating than Creighton and frankly they are on a roll coming into this tournament! In the past, teams early in the tournament playing near home, have a HUGE advantage. I like Louisville in this spot!

Personal Play: 

UCLA vs Utah State 9:25pm EST

UCLA comes into this game a little shaky as of late but I think they will perform well in this one! They are very good at times and very bad other times— very up and down. But they have had 10 days of rest and I think their coach who has over 500 wins will have them prepared, rested, and hungry in this one!! I like them to come out with some real urgency. Meanwhile Utah State is a solid team but they have played in a worse conference all year. They do have some very good senior guards which is usually a buy on sign for me. But I think that this is a good place to ride with a rested UCLA team. UCLA is a team I trust to be able to get stops down the stretch.

UC San Diego vs Michigan 10:00pm EST

We bet on UC San Diego last week in their conference championship. I really like them in this matchup vs Michigan. This is a far travel situation for a Michigan team that just won the Big Ten Championship. Now they have to go to elevation to play a very good 3pt shooting San Diego team. This line opened up small for a reason. The only reason this isn’t a Personal Play is because a lot of people likes this matchup for San Diego and that tends to work out poorly. But I really do like this matchup. I’ll take the opening line.
