#9 Kansas Jayhawks @ #2 Iowa State Cyclones 

This game is always something special. These two squads are as good as any team in the nation. In the past decade or so, these teams typically have split the season series 1-1, which makes sense because these two teams have arguably the best home court advantage in all of College Basketball. This game takes place in Ames, Iowa where they will play at Hilton Colilisuem. Outside of Allen Fieldhouse, this is easily the hardest place to play in the Big 12: However, regardless of location, the Jayhawks and Cyclones usually have tight games that come down to the last possession. Now Vegas opened up this line at -6.5 in favor of Iowa State. We’ve since seen this line shift down to -5.5 and now -5 on most major sportsbooks. This game is going to come down to one thing— COACHING! The Kansas Jayhawks have the best coach in all of college basketball and it’s not neccesarily close. They opened the season up as the Number One team in the land, but have dropped a couple tight games. The Cyclones are getting a lot of love right now and this seems like perfect Sell High spot and an amazing opportunity to Buy Low on a Kansas Jayhawks squad that simply has better players, better coaches, more experience, and a higher standard of excellence. This line is inflated and we are not buying it. This is Iowa State’s first time EVER being ranked as high as #2 in program history. For the Jayhawks, being ranked out of the Top 5 feels like a disappointing season. There’s levels to this. Give us the Jayhawks on the points with a real shot to steal one tonight.
