Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs Penn State Nittany Lions

No doubt about it, this is going to be an incredible game. Two of the biggest programs in college football are facing off tonight in what will almost surely be an instant classic. The Fighting Irish are led by Senior QB Riley Leonard, who has shown some truly remarkable leadership this season. After watching his post game interview against Georgia, we were able to get a glimpse into his mentality as a leader. In his brief one minute interview, he thanked Jesus, his defense, offensive line, coaching staff, school, and family. He never mentioned himself. It was refreshing to see a young quarterback in the limelight give the credit to everyone else but himself. The Irish defeated the Georgia Bulldogs 23-10, in a game where they were honestly outplayed. But— this team visibly feeds off each other. They play for each other. They play for their QB. They play for their coach. But most of all, they play for Notre Dame. They take pride in their school. For decades people have joked about Notre Dame and how they choke in big games. But this team is special. It is a selfless squad, where no one player gets all the credit. They play as a unit. So guys, you can probably already tell we are backing the Irish. Not because they are flashy. Not because they are the best team left. But because they rally behind each other, pick each other up when they make mistakes, and when they win, they don’t care who gets the credit for it. Riley Leonard threw for 90 yards last game and Notre Dame won by two touchdowns against one of the best programs in college football. Enough said. ROLL IRISH! We are FIRED UP for this ball game.
