#1 Tennessee Volunteers @ #8 Florida Gators

This marquee matchup between two of the best SEC programs takes place in Gainesville tonight at 7 PM ET. The Gators have gotten out a hot start, sitting at a very solid 13-1 record, with the only blemish coming from this weekends matchup against a very strong Kentucky Wildcats squad. It was a close game but Kentucky ultimately pulled off a gritty win. With that being said, Rupp arena is one of the hardest places to play in college basketball and they can beat any team in that country on any given night on their home court. Tennessee on the other hand has a pristine 14-0 record with some solid wins over Illinois, Baylor, and Arkansas. Both teams have been tested throughout the early stages of this season and have relatively similar strength of schedule. Most would anticipate that the #1 team in the country would come into this match as the favorite, but it is the Gators who are getting -2.5 points and it has gone all the way up to -4 on some books today. We anticipate that the public will be all over the Volunteers in this one.

Bottom line:

The Gators will win this game. Our strongest recommendation for this game would be to take the Gators on the MONEYLINE at around -165, which is what we will personally be taking. But if you are looking to roll the dice on the -2.5 in this game—we have confidence in them to cover as well.
