4 Alabama Crimson Tide @ #8 Kentucky Wildcats

We’ve got a classic SEC matchup today at 12 ET. In the past couple years, the SEC has really become one of the best (if not the best) basketball conferences. Arguably the two best teams in the conference are facing off in Lexington and it will be a shootout. The visiting Crimson Tide play a fast paced style of ball with solid guard play, combined with two talented big men. Led by senior Mark Sears, they are a threat to score at will and can beat anybody in the country. However, the Wildcats matchup quite well with the Tide, Boasting three incredibly talented guards in Otega Oweh, Jaxon Robinson, and Lamont Butler. Combining these three weapons with their potent big men is what has people calling this squad a serious title contender. This game is going to come down to defense and pace of play, and if Kentucky can control both, they should have no problem winning this one. It will likely be a close game but we anticipate the Wildcats will come out on top late. This is a short price to pay for the Cats to win outright.
